User satisfaction in temporary housing units: The case of Diyarbakir container city, Turkey
The evaluation of user satisfaction in temporary housing units, particularly in the container city established in Diyarbakir following the Kahramnmaras earthquake on 6 February 2023, presents a critical area of study in post-disaster recovery efforts ...

ABSTRACT Infected diabetic wounds are sustained by a vicious cycle of hyperglycemia‐driven bacterial infection, persistent oxidative stress, and excessive inflammation, which collectively disrupt the ordered progression of tissue repair. Here, we engineered a stage‐adaptive Janus microneedle patch (MN‐FeSAC‐PPE) to enable a staged therapeutic process ...

Indoor Thermal Environment of Temporary Mobile Energy Shelter Houses (MeSHs) in South Korea
Temporary housing must be developed to support the long-term residence needs of disaster victims. The present study assesses a temporary housing unit, the so-called Mobile Energy Shelter House (MeSH), incorporating the “Korean Dwelling Insulation ...

ABSTRACT Iron overload is a common metabolic disturbance in cancer and contributes to poor outcomes in renal cell carcinoma (RCC), yet its effects on the tumour immune microenvironment remain unclear. Here we identify a previously unrecognized immunosuppressive axis in which iron overload downregulates the palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC12 in CD8+ T cells ...

Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.

Hair Follicle Seedling Cryomicroneedles from Hierarchical Microfluidic Organoid on a Chip
In this paper, a hierarchical microfluidic chip is developed to produce uniform hair follicle organoids (HFOs) in cryomicroneedles. Cryopreservation agents encapsulate HFOs, preserving viability and hair growth potential. The cryomicroneedles enable simple intradermal transplantation with good skin penetration.

This study develops 16:0 LPC‐modified lipid nanoparticles (LPC‐LNPs) with cancer cell specificity by exploiting altered tumor lipid metabolism. LPC‐LNPs encapsulating Cd28 small interfering RNA (LPC‐LNP‐Cd28) knock down cancer cell CD28 without affecting T cells, inflame the tumor microenvironment, and overcome anti‐PD‐1 resistance.

Interacting Parallel Fluidic Hysterons
The parallel coupling of fluidic hysterons is introduced, establishing advanced functionalities in inflatable soft systems. A pressure–volume framework reveals how preset volumes Δv∗${\Delta }v^*$ tune nonlinear interactions between hysterons and actuation sequences without changing architecture. Experiments validate the predictions, opening new routes
