Association Between Tooth Eruption and Parent‐Reported Awake Bruxism in Early Childhood

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 52, Issue 11, Page 1877-1883, November 2025.
Graphical abstract illustrating the relationship between tooth eruption and parent‐reported awake bruxism in early childhood. Social Media Use and Jaw Motor Activity: Insights From Electromyography and Self‐Report Data

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 52, Issue 11, Page 1945-1954, November 2025.
Self‐reported social media use is positively associated with the frequency of oral behaviours. However, in a controlled laboratory setting, social media exposure was linked to increased self‐reported stress and anxiety, though no significant changes in jaw muscle activity were observed across tasks.

Interplay of Psychosocial, Clinical and Modulation Mechanisms in Chronic TMD‐Related Disability

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 52, Issue 11, Page 2021-2030, November 2025.
Principal components associated with chronic TMD‐related disability. A multivariate model using principal component analysis and logistic regression identified five key components—psychosocial, clinical pain, duration and extent of pain, pain modulation, and sensory function—that interact to influence functional disability in individuals with muscular ...

The Impact of Occlusal Support Patterns in Right‐Handed Denture Wearers on Oral Function and Oral Health‐Related Quality of Life

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 52, Issue 11, Page 1980-1989, November 2025.
This study examined how different occlusal support patterns affect oral function and quality of life in right‐handed elderly denture wearers. Reduced function was most notable in the right distal extension group. Despite asymmetry, the preferred chewing side remained consistent, especially when bilateral support was maintained.
