The nMB splint demonstrated superior effectiveness in reducing joint noise and improving patient comfort compared to the TB splint, while both splints exhibited similar efficacy in relieving joint pain and enhancing MMO. The nMB design offers a promising, patient‐oriented approach for conservative treatment of ADDwR.

Tomographic TMJ parameters showed limited predictive value for hypermobility‐related outcomes. Male sex was consistently associated with greater mouth opening, while increased age reduced the odds of TMJ subluxation. Structural imaging features demonstrated weak associations with functional measures, reinforcing the multifactorial nature of TMJ ...

Our Experience with Arthroscopy of Temporomandibular Joint
Arthroscopy of temporomandibular joint may be considered as a surgical, minimally invasive diagnostic-therapeutic method, which successfully bridges the gap between the conservative therapy of TMP and a surgical intervention on the open joint. It enables

The authors examined arthrotomographies of 89 patients (96 joints) with closed lock of the temporomandibular joint to clarify the frequency of disk deformity correlated with disk perforation, bone change and patients' age. The disk configurations were divided into 3 types, those were type-1-elongated and preserved shape of the disk, 39 joints, type 2 ...
