Congenital Syngnathia With Holoprosencephaly: A Case Report of a Fatal Presentation in a Resource‐Limited Setting

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Congenital syngnathia, the rare fusion of the maxilla and mandible, poses significant feeding and respiratory challenges. Leptin From Fibro‐Adipogenic Progenitor Cells (FAPs) Regulates Masseter Muscle Disuse Atrophy and Ectopic Fat Accumulation

open access: yesJournal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle, Volume 16, Issue 6, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Excessive fat accumulation in muscles with disuse atrophy may impair muscle physiologic function and exacerbate the progression of atrophy, with causes largely unexplored. Evidence indicates leptin plays a crucial role in regulating skeletal muscle fat metabolism.

Early and Sustained Shift in Headache Day Frequency Following Eptinezumab Treatment in Adults With Migraine for Whom 2–4 Previous Preventive Treatments Have Failed: A Post Hoc Analysis of the Randomized DELIVER Trial

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neurology, Volume 32, Issue 12, December 2025.
This post hoc analysis of data from the DELIVER trial—which had an 88% completion rate across the placebo‐controlled and extension periods—suggests that eptinezumab administration in people with the most burdensome migraine subtypes (chronic and high‐frequency episodic migraine) induces a shift of MHDs towards less burdensome subtypes.
