Brief Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (Tmd): Enhancing Sensitivity in Diagnosing Headache Attributed to Tmd (A Multi‐Centre Study)

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 53, Issue 6, Page 1137-1143, June 2026.
This multicentre retrospective study evaluated reintroducing selected DC/TMD examination items into the bDC/TMD to improve diagnosis of headache attributed to TMD. Correlation Between the New Bite Force Meter and GC Dental Prescale II

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 53, Issue 6, Page 1177-1186, June 2026.
This study evaluated a new one‐sided bite force meter (OBM‐01). In healthy and older adults, the device showed good reliability and moderate correlation with Dental Prescale II measurements. Habitual chewing side bite force was significantly higher, suggesting OBM‐01 may be useful for assessing oral function in clinical settings.

Intronic Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in FGFR2 Gene Association With Non‐Syndromic Mandibular Retrognathism

open access: yesOrthodontics &Craniofacial Research, Volume 29, Issue 3, Page 538-545, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective Mandibular retrognathism (MR) is a skeletal malocclusion in which patients have a deficient mandibular length, resulting in a more posterior position of the mandible. We aimed to investigate the association between Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 2 (FGFR2) gene and MR in germans.
