Distribution of the cell substratum attachment (CSAT) antigen on myogenic and fibroblastic cells in culture. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
Previous studies (Neff et al., 1982, J. Cell. Biol. 95:654-666; Decker et al., 1984. J. Cell. Biol. 99:1388-1404) have described a monoclonal antibody (CSAT Mab) directed against a complex of three integral membrane glycoproteins of 120,000-160,000 mol ...

Mechanical Overloading‐Induced Nanomineral Crystal Perturbation from the Osteochondral Interface: A Potential Initiator of Osteoarthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Laser‐induced graphene (LIG) provides a scalable, laser‐direct‐written route to porous graphene architecture with tunable chemistry and defect density. Through heterojunction engineering, catalytic functionalization, and intrinsic self‐heating, LIG achieves highly sensitive and selective detection of NOX, NH3, H2, and humidity, supporting next ...

Multifunctional Gelatin‐Based Smart Films Integrating Thermochromic Encryption, Temperature‐Regulated Photothermal Management, Reprocessability, and Biodegradability for Sustainable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multifunctional gelatin films synergizing thermochromic encryption, self‐regulating photothermal management, and closed‐loop recyclability offer sustainable solutions for intelligent packaging. ABSTRACT Multifunctional gelatin‐based smart films are engineered by incorporating hyperbranched polyglycerol (HBPG) as a plasticizer, dialdehyde β‐cyclodextrin

Mechanical Strain‐Programmed SDC1+ Sheath Fibroblasts Trigger CXCR4hi Neutrophil‐Mediated Enthesitis in Ankylosing Spondylitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In ankylosing spondylitis (AS), mechanical strain‐programmed SDC1+ sheath fibroblasts secrete CXCL5 to recruit neutrophils and promote the activation of CXCR4hi neutrophils, thereby exacerbating enthesitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) formation. SOX5 controls the generation of SDC1+ sheath fibroblasts via super‐enhancers.

Arthroscopic-Assisted Lower Trapezius Tendon Transfer With Fascia Lata Autograft for Irreparable Posterior–Superior Rotator Cuff Tears

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques
Lower trapezius tendon transfer is a surgical procedure that has become increasingly popular in recent years. The biggest advantage of this method is that the pulling direction of the lower trapezius is the same as that of the infraspinatus.

Gluteus Maximus-Tensor Fascia Lata Transfer With Double-Row Repair and Bioinductive Scaffold Augmentation for Chronic Abductor Tendon Tears

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques
Hip abductor tendon tears are a common cause of lateral hip pain and gait disturbance, especially in older adults. While conservative treatment is first-line, high failure rates often necessitate surgical intervention.

Skin‐Conformal Myography for Real‐Time Hand Tracking Using a Laser‐Induced Graphene Strain Sensor Array

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
A skin‐conformal wearable device based on laser‐induced graphene is developed for continuous strain measurement across the circumference of the forearm for gesture recognition and hand‐tracking applications. Post material optimization, the strain sensor array is integrated with a wearable wireless readout circuit for real‐time control of a robotic arm,
