Surface‐Active Organics Increase CCN Activation Especially for Small Particles and Weak Updrafts
Abstract Atmospheric aerosols often contain surface‐active organics, which reduce surface tension and enhance cloud droplets activation. This effect is often neglected in the application of Köhler theory where a constant surface tension equivalent to pure water is assumed.

A Kalman Filter Approach for Estimating Tendon Wave Speed from Skin-Mounted Accelerometers
Shear wave tensiometry is a noninvasive approach for assessing in vivo tendon forces based on the speed of a propagating shear wave. Wave speed is measured by impulsively exciting a shear wave in a tendon and then assessing the wave travel time between ...

The Hierarchical Structure of Sheep Wool and Its Impact on Physical Properties
Sheep wool, a prevalent α‐keratinous fiber, is an essential model for studying protein‐based fibers. Its genetic diversity across breeds enables the establishment of multiscale structure‐property relationships, uncovering previously elusive insights into wool's hierarchical structure.
