Completely positive tensor decomposition
A symmetric tensor, which has a symmetric nonnegative decomposition, is called a completely positive tensor. We consider the completely positive tensor decomposition problem. A semidefinite algorithm is presented for checking whether a symmetric tensor is completely positive. If it is not completely positive, a certificate for it can be obtained; if it

This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

Adaptable Tile‐Based Pneumatic Origami through Structurally Coupled Localized Actuation
This article presents tile‐based pneumatic origami structures with rigid tiles and flexible fabric creases, achieving adaptable properties including morphing shape, selective multistability, and tunable stiffness. Independently pressurized folding bladders at each crease enable structurally coupled localized actuation of origami structures.

Spectrum Situation Awareness for Space–Air–Ground Integrated Networks Based on Tensor Computing
The spectrum situation awareness problem in space–air–ground integrated networks (SAGINs) is studied from a tensor-computing perspective. Tensor and tensor computing, including tensor decomposition, tensor completion and tensor eigenvalues, can satisfy ...

An Inkjet‐Printed Platinum‐Based Temperature Sensing Element on Polyimide Substrates
An inkjet‐printed, meander‐structured, nanoparticle platinum‐based resistive temperature sensors on polyimide substrates are demonstrated as proof‐of‐concept. Optimized sintering at 250°C enables stable conductive structures. The Pt100‐ and Pt1000‐type sensors exhibit linear resistance–temperature characteristics with stable TCR in the 20°C–80°C range,

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Complete intersections in tensor algebras I
In this paper we continue the study of’ the vanishing of the lower relative Poochschild cohomology groups. This paper is ;a continuation of [3]. Recall that if A is a k-algebra, where k is a commutative ring, a two-sided ideal I in A is a camplete intersection in ~4 if H*((@‘)//I,~ = 0 for all two-sided A-modules M. The use of the terminology “complete

Curvature‐tuned auxetic lattices are designed, fabricated, and mechanically characterized to reveal how geometric curvature governs stretchability, stress redistribution, and Poisson's ratio evolution. Photoelastic experiments visualize stress pathways, while hyperelastic simulations quantify deformation mechanics.

Classification of 5d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 gauge theories
We classify 5d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 gauge theories carrying a simple gauge group that can arise by mass-deforming 5d SCFTs and 6d SCFTs (compactified on a circle, possibly with a twist).
