Accelerated Low-Rank Tensor Completion via Projected Tensor Block Coordinate Descent
The low-rank tensor completion problem aims to find a low-rank approximation of a tensor by filling in missing entries from partially observed entries to enhance the accuracy of the tensor data analysis.

Joint Weighted Tensor Schatten
In the traditional non-local similar patch-based denoising algorithms, the image patches are firstly flatted into a vector. The structure information within the image patches is ignored; however, the spatial layout information can be used for improving ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

The versatile precursor‐assisted soft sphere close packing during slot‐die coating is investigated with in situ X‐ray scattering. The soft crystallization pathways towards a close packing involve multistep structural transitions such as surface nucleation, in‐plane, and out‐of‐plane crystallization.

Bounds on the Spectral Norm and the Nuclear Norm of a Tensor Based on Tensor Partitions [PDF]
Summary: It is known that computing the spectral norm and the nuclear norm of a tensor is NP-hard in general. In this paper, we provide neat bounds for the spectral norm and the nuclear norm of a tensor based on tensor partitions. The spectral norm (respectively, the nuclear norm) can be lower and upper bounded by manipulating the spectral norms ...

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

Substrate Stress Relaxation Regulates Cell‐Mediated Assembly of Extracellular Matrix
Silicone‐based viscoelastic substrates with tunable stress relaxation reveal how matrix mechanics regulates cellular mechanosensing and cell‐mediated matrix remodelling in the stiff regime. High stress relaxation promotes assembly of fibronectin fibril‐like structures, increased nuclear localization of YAP and formation of β1 integrin‐enriched ...

Understanding Decoherence of the Boron Vacancy Center in Hexagonal Boron Nitride
State‐of‐the‐art computations unravel the intricate decoherence dynamics of the boron vacancy center in hexagonal boron nitride across magnetic fields from 0 to 3 T. Five distinct regimes emerge, dominated by nuclear spin interactions, revealing optimal coherence times of 1–20 µs in the 180–350 mT range for isotopically pure samples.
