Tensor of Order Two and Geometric Properties of 2D Metric Space
A 2D metric space has a limited number of properties through which it can be described. This metric space may comprise objects such as a scalar, a vector, and a rank-2 tensor. The paper provides a comprehensive description of relations between objects in

Tensor products and sums of p-harmonic functions, quasiminimizers and p-admissible weights
The tensor product of two p-harmonic functions is in general not p-harmonic, but we show that it is a quasiminimizer. More generally, we show that the tensor product of two quasiminimizers is a quasiminimizer.

A decomposition is obtained for the tensor product of two irreducible representations of the group of conformal mappings of the upper half-plane when one representation is taken in a Hilbert space of analytic functions and the other in the conjugate of such a space.

Matrix: a complex amalgam of structures and functions in tumor microenvironment
The matrix is a dynamic, intricate three‐dimensional mesh of biomolecules with both structural and functional properties. This review deals with the complexity of this ‘molecular amalgam’ in the tumor microenvironment and highlights its importance in the maintenance and evolution of tumors by describing certain matrix biomolecules, such as ...

Sphingoid base structures, the sphingolipid backbones, vary among species. We established yeast cells in which the native sphingoid base was replaced with plant‐type bases containing cis or trans double bonds. This is, to our knowledge, the first eukaryotic model mostly composed of sphingolipids containing cis‐unsaturated sphingoid base, providing a ...

Diffusion‐based size determination of solute particles: a method adapted for postsynaptic proteins
We present a diffusion‐based approach for measuring the size of macromolecules and their complexes, and demonstrate its use on postsynaptic proteins. The method requires fluorescein‐labelled protein samples, a microfluidic device that maintains laminar flow for said samples, a microscope recording the emitted fluorescent signals, and an analytic ...

Tensor products of finitely cocomplete and abelian categories
The purpose of this article is to study the existence of Deligne's tensor product of abelian categories by comparing it with the well-known ten- sor product of finitely cocomplete categories.

Designing and Delivering Effective Faculty Development With the Adult Learner in Mind
ABSTRACT University faculty are busy professionals tasked with many different responsibilities. While they certainly care about student success, their expertise is generally discipline‐specific and strategies for effective and engaging teaching are developed in the classroom along the way.

AbstractWe study the polynomial identities of regular algebras, introduced in [A. Regev, T. Seeman, Z2-graded tensor products of P.I. algebras, J. Algebra 291 (2005) 274–296]. For example, a finite-dimensional algebra is regular if it has a basis whose multiplication table satisfies some commutation relations.

Tensor Product of Evolution Algebras
AbstractThe starting point of this work is the fact that the class of evolution algebras over a fixed field is closed under tensor product. We prove that, under certain conditions, the tensor product is an evolution algebra if and only if every factor is an evolution algebra.
