Multiband Switchable Microwave Absorbing Metamaterials Based on Reconfigurable Kirigami–Origami

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reconfigurable metamaterial featuring tunable microwave‐absorbing and load‐bearing performance is proposed. Stretchable kirigami and bistable origami configurations are integrated as actuating components, and the synergistic deformation mechanisms are systematically analyzed.

Decomposition of Tensor Products Involving a Steinberg Module [PDF]

open access: yesAlgebras and Representation Theory, 2017
We study the decomposition of tensor products between a Steinberg module and a costandard module, both as a module for the algebraic group $G$ and when restricted to either a Frobenius kernel $G_r$ or a finite Chevalley group $G(\mathbb{F}_q)$. In all three cases, we give formulas reducing this to standard character data for $G$.

Golden‐Ratio–Guided Aperiodic Architected Metamaterials with Simultaneously Enhanced Strength and Toughness

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Guided by the golden ratio, a class of aperiodic architected metamaterials is introduced to address the intrinsic trade‐off between strength and toughness. By unifying local geometric heterogeneity with global order, the golden‐ratio‐guided aperiodic architecture promotes spatial delocalization of damage tolerence regions, leading to more tortuous ...

Generating Operator of XXX or Gaudin Transfer Matrices Has Quasi-Exponential Kernel

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2007
Let $M$ be the tensor product of finite-dimensional polynomial evaluation Yangian $Y(gl_N)$-modules. Consider the universal difference operator $D = sum_{k=0}^N (-1)^k T_k(u) e^{-kpartial_u}$ whose coefficients $T_k(u): M o M$ are the XXX transfer ...

High‐Spatiotemporal‐Resolution Transparent Thermoelectric Temperature Sensor Arrays Reveal Temperature‐Dependent Windows for Reversible Photothermal Neuromodulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Thermoelectric temperature sensors are developed that directly measure heat changes during optical‐based neural stimulation with millisecond precision. The sensors reveal the temperature windows for safe reversible neural modulation: 1.4–4.5 °C enables reversible neural inhibition, while temperatures above 6.1 °C cause permanent thermal damage.

Extremal loop weight modules and tensor products for quantum toroidal algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We define integrable representations of quantum toroidal algebras of type A by tensor product, using the Drinfeld "coproduct". This allow us to recover the vector representations recently introduced by Feigin-Jimbo-Miwa-Mukhin [6] and constructed by the ...

Tensor products of modules, rigidity and local cohomology.

open access: yesMATHEMATICA SCANDINAVICA, 1997
The present paper is a continuation of the authors' previous paper [\textit{C. Huneke} and \textit{R. Wiegand}, Math. Ann. 299, No. 3, 449-476 (1994; Zbl 0803.13008)]. The authors study rigidity properties of local cohomology and \(\text{Tor}\). Let \(A\) be a local hypersurface domain of dimension \(d\) and \(M\), \(N\) two finitely generated \(A ...

Harmonizing the Pyrene and Ether Groups in Covalent Triazine Polymers for Highly Effective H2O2 Photosynthesis via One‐Step Two‐Electron Oxygen Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The pyrene and ether groups are incorporated into the covalent triazine polymer (CTP) structure. The synergistic effect of the two functional groups endows CTP with better electron transfer, light absorption, and oxygen activation properties. An impressive apparent quantum yield (13.2% @420 nm) and a remarkable solar‐to‐chemical conversion efficiency ...
