Multiway Filtering Based on Fourth-Order Cumulants
We propose a new multiway filtering based on fourth-order cumulants for the denoising of noisy data tensor with correlated Gaussian noise. The classical multiway filtering is based on the TUCKALS3 algorithm that computes a lower-rank tensor ...

P-Tensors, P$_0$-Tensors, and Tensor Complementarity Problem
The concepts of P- and P$_0$-matrices are generalized to P- and P$_0$-tensors of even and odd orders via homogeneous formulae. Analog to the matrix case, our P-tensor definition encompasses many important classes of tensors such as the positive definite tensors, the nonsingular M-tensors, the nonsingular H-tensors with positive diagonal entries, the ...

High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

A dynamical non-Abelian two-form potential gives masses to vector bosons via a topological coupling.1 Unlike in the Abelian case, the two-form cannot be dualized to Goldstone bosons. Duality is restored by coupling a flat connection to the theory in a particular way, and the new action is then dualized to a nonlinear sigma model.

The formation of nonmetallic inclusions (NMIs) was investigated in this study, carrying out immersion tests for 30 min at a temperature of 1600°C with liquid high‐silicon electrical steel (Si ≈ 3 mass‐%) and different MgO–C refractories. Conventional MgO–C refractories were considered, as well as MgO–C refractories containing MgO–C recyclate and ...

Two new lower bounds for the minimum eigenvalue of M-tensors
Two new lower bounds for the minimum eigenvalue of an irreducible M-tensor are given. It is proved that the new lower bounds improve the corresponding bounds obtained by He and Huang (J. Inequal. Appl. 2014:114, 2014).

Hankel Tensors: Associated Hankel Matrices and Vandermonde Decomposition
Hankel tensors arise from applications such as signal processing. In this paper, we make an initial study on Hankel tensors. For each Hankel tensor, we associate it with a Hankel matrix and a higher order two-dimensional symmetric tensor, which we call ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Symmetric nonnegative tensors and copositive tensors
We first prove two new spectral properties for symmetric nonnegative tensors. We prove a maximum property for the largest H-eigenvalue of a symmetric nonnegative tensor, and establish some bounds for this eigenvalue via row sums of that tensor. We show that if an eigenvalue of a symmetric nonnegative tensor has a positive H-eigenvector, then this ...
