High‐Resolution Laser‐Induced Forward Transfer of Graphene and Graphene/hBN Heterostructures Onto SiN Photodetector Patterns

open access: yesphysica status solidi (a), Volume 223, Issue 13, 8 July 2026.
Laser‐Induced Forward Transfer enables the maskless, high‐resolution integration of graphene and graphene/hBN pixels onto SiN photodetector architectures. Optimized laser processing preserves graphene quality while allowing transfer down to the 15 μm scale and across complex topographies, establishing a selective, mask‐free route toward straightforward

Advanced Terahertz Sensing of Liquid Petrochemicals: Pentagonal‐Core Photonic Crystal Fiber Design and Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
A hybrid‐structured pentagonal‐core photonic crystal fiber sensor operating in the terahertz regime is proposed for fuel adulteration detection. Numerical analysis using the finite element method in COMSOL shows optimal performance at 2 THz, achieving high relative sensitivity (up to 98.20%) with ultralow confinement loss (~10−¹³ dB/m). The design also

Pholidota‐Inspired Electronic Skin Possessing Terahertz‐Wave Reflection–Absorption–Transmission Switchability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 37, 3 July 2026.
The pholidota‐inspired electronic skin is successfully constructed, originally realized four‐state reversible switching of terahertz‐wave reflection, absorption, transmission, and secondary reflection. In response to external demands, it issues deformation instructions, verifies the deformation state after the equipment executes the action, and thus ...

Glycine‐Induced Unique Crystal Packing of Octacyanidetungstates With Strong Intermolecular Antiferromagnetic Interaction, Near‐Infrared Emission, and Second Harmonic Generation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 27, 1 July 2026.
Glycine molecules induce a unique crystal packing into a supramolecular one‐dimensional columnar structure of octacyanidotungstates, which exhibits exceptionally strong antiferromagnetic superexchange interactions of J = −42.41(2) K between adjacent octacyanidotungstate units.

Defect‐Functionalization‐Mediated Tunneling Drives Nonlinear Photoemission in Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 37, 3 July 2026.
This cover illustration depicts CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals embedded with functionalized defect vacancies, where electrons migrate through defect‐mediated pathways and emit as lightning‐like beams. The imagery visualizes the core discovery of our work—defect‐functionalization‐mediated tunneling enabling nonlinear photoemission, where deep‐level ...
