THz‐EPR spectroscopy provides direct access to the low‐lying electronic structure and spin–phonon coupling in iron(II) spin crossover (SCO) complexes. Quantification of the high‐spin fraction (γHS$\gamma _{\text{HS}}$) and subtle shifts in magnetic transitions reveal the influence of the surrounding lattice and enable discrimination between microscopic

Thermoelectric conductivity decreases nonlinearly with increasing temperature for all investigated band‐gap values. Higher energy splitting yields lower conductivity, while smaller gaps maintain superior carrier transport. Peak response occurs at low temperature, followed by gradual saturation at elevated temperatures.

Polarisation-sensitive terahertz detectors
We have developed a detector of coherent terahertz (THz) radiation that can recover the full polarisation state of a THz transient. The device is a three-contact photoconductive receiver, which is capable of recording two time-varying electric field components of a THz pulse simultaneously.
