Efficient Large‐Area Graphene p‐n Junction Terahertz Receivers on an Integrated Optical Platform
An antenna‐integrated graphene Salisbury screen (AgSS) p‐n junction is engineered to detect radiation at 2.8 THz with room‐temperature noise equivalent powers < 300 pWHz−1/2, response time < 5 ns and a power dynamic range larger than four orders of magnitude.

MEDICAL APPLICATIONS OF TERAHERTZ RADIATION
"In this thesis, Moisture MApping by Terahertz (MMAT) is proposed as a technique for the evaluation of the diabetic foot deterioration as an early diagnostic test. The image acquisition and data processing of the MMAT technique is presented together with a first clinical trial and the diagnostic potential analysis for this technique.

The study demonstrates omnidirectional broadband absorption of polysilicon (p‐Si) thin films decorated with light cone arrays composed of inverted cones decorated with sidewall subwavelength structures and top dielectric nanolenses. The height of the p‐Si is 1.2 µm on top of a glass substrate.
