Terahertz‐Induced Resistance Oscillations in MgZnO/ZnO Heterostructures

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), Volume 262, Issue 7, July 2025.
A theoretical work on the radiation‐induced magnetoresistance oscillations in MgZnO/ZnO heterostructures in the terahertz (THz) band is presented. It is demonstrated that photo‐oscillations are much better observed in that band. In fact, the large effective mass of electrons in this material makes terahertz the more suitable to be used.

Partial Melting and Structural Disorder in Models of Irradiated Amorphous Ge2Sb2Te5

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, Volume 19, Issue 7, July 2025.
The evolution of the potential energy landscape of glassy Ge2Sb2Te5$\left(\text{Ge}\right)_{2} \left(\text{Sb}\right)_{2} \left(\text{Te}\right)_{5}$ during irradiation indicates the partial melting of the model structure. This view provides a thermodynamic insight into the fast recovery of the amorphous network after irradiation. The chemical disorder
