Studies on Pathway of Producing Terephthalic Acid by Microorganism Coordinated Catalysis [PDF]
A method was developed for the determination of terephthalic acid, p-tolualdehyde, p-methylbenzyl alcohol and p-toluic acid by HPLC. Hypersil SAX column was used. The mobile phase was 2.5 mol/L NH4H2PO4 containing 10 % acetonitrile, pH was 4. 32.

Pore‐size‐controlled nanoconfinement of rubrene within UiO‐66 and UiO‐67 suppresses aggregation‐caused quenching and restores bright solid‐state emission. Geometric exclusion and energetic destabilization prevent parallel stacking, yielding solution‐like absorption and fluorescence quantum yields up to 25%.

In Situ Grown UiO‐66‐NH2 on Nanocellulose Aerogels for Gas Capture
ABSTRACT Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) decomposition gases are toxic and corrosive, making the removal of these impurities essential for ensuring equipment safety and personnel health. To address this issue, this work developed a robust TEMPO‐oxidised cellulose nanofibril/chitosan (TOCNF/CS)@UiO‐66‐NH2 composite aerogel by in situ growth UiO‐66‐NH2 ...

Polyesterase activity and thermostability of carboxylesterases from Thermoleophilum album YS‐3
Three novel α/β‐hydrolases from thermophilic bacterium Thermoleophilum album display carboxylesterase and polyesterase activity. These enzymes hydrolyse PET, PLA and PCL both at high and moderate temperatures. TA21 shows superior activity, efficiently converting MHET to terephthalic acid. Structural features underlying substrate binding highlight their

Photocatalytic Transfer Hydrogenation Using Plastic Hydrolysates as Hydrogen Donor
Plastic waste is transformed into functional amines via solar‐driven transfer hydrogenation. Soluble monomers from acid hydrolysis of waste polymers serve as a hydrogen (electron/proton)donors in the selective reduction of nitroarenes using a visible light active photocatalyst consisting of cobalt promoted molybdenum disulfide integrated in cyanamide ...

Urothermal Synthesis of Luminescent Alkaline Earth MOFs
The e‐murea derivative (1,3‐dimethylimidazolidin‐2‐one) was employed as solvent for the urothermal synthesis of a series of nine AE MOFs featuring luminescence in the crystalline state with remarkable quantum yields ranging from 0.45 to 0.84. ABSTRACT The urothermal approach in 1,3‐dimethylimidazolidin‐2‐one (e‐murea) was employed for the successful ...
