Short-term variability in EEG frequency analysis
Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, 1988Knowledge of short-term EEG variability in computerized analysis is important before interpreting spectral EEGs or assessing changes that may be due to inherent variability and not necessarily related to a task (e.g., listening to a story), therapy or changes in underlying disease.

Compute the Term Contributed Frequency
2008 Eighth International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications, 2008In this paper, we propose an algorithm and data structure for computing the term contributed frequency (tcf) for all N-grams in a text corpus. Although term frequency is one of the standard notions of frequency in Corpus-Based Natural Language Processing (NLP), there are some problems regarding the use of the concept to N-grams approaches such as the ...

Extracting terms by a combination of term frequency and a measure of term representativeness
Terminology. International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Issues in Specialized Communication, 2000This article describes a method for extracting terms that combines term frequency with a novel measure of term representativeness (i.e., informativeness or domain specificity). The measure is defined as the normalized distance between the word distribution in the documents which contain the term and the word distribution in the whole corpus.

Implementing Term Frequency-Inverse Term Frequency at Tweets in Indonesian Fraud Crime Cases
2020 3rd International Conference on Information and Communications Technology (ICOIACT), 2020Crime analysis is a methodical approach to identifying and analyzing patterns and trends in crime. Using crime analysis and text mining, we can analyze the modus operandi of crime to reduce the offenders. However, many fraud victims rarely report their problems to the police and tend to share their fraud case stories with their social media. Therefore,

Digital long-term laser frequency stabilization with an optical frequency comb
Applied Optics, 2021Laser frequency stabilization plays an important role in high-precision spectroscopic measurements. Since high-accuracy commercial wavemeters became available, wavemeter-based frequency stabilization has found a broad application due to its convenience, flexibility, and wide applicability. However, such stabilization schemes frequently suffer from long-

TF-SIDF: Term frequency, sketched inverse document frequency
2011 11th International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications, 2011Exact calculation of the TF-IDF weighting function in massive streams of documents involves challenging memory space requirements. In this work, we propose TF-SIDF, a novel solution for extracting relevant words from streams of documents with a high number of terms.
