Term Birth Weight and Neurodevelopmental Outcomes

Epidemiology, 2021
Background: Preterm birth is an important risk factor for neurodevelopmental disabilities. The vast majority of these disabilities occur, however, among term births. The role of fetal growth restriction specifically among term babies has been incompletely described.

An improved supervised term weighting scheme for text representation and classification

Expert systems with applications, 2021
Term weighting scheme has significant effects on the text classification performance. The main reason is that in text classification tasks, term weighting scheme determines the way in which texts are represented in the vector space model. Currently, term

Long‐term weight loss and weight‐loss maintenance strategies

Obesity Reviews, 2008
SummaryIt has been suggested that about 20% of subjects undergoing weight‐loss programmes can achieve a certain degree of long‐term success. At present, surgery remains the only method resulting in long‐term sustained weight loss, but access remains restricted. Hence it is important to analyse, in addition to pharmacotherapy, the methods to improve the

Long-term prediction of birth weight

Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, 1993
On the basis of the hypothesis that undisturbed individual growth in fetal life keeps a constant proportional difference with the standard population 50th percentile, birth weight can be predicted with a single sonographic exploration after the 16th week of pregnancy. Data on 135 singleton pregnancies with accurate dates and delivery at term were used.

Long‐term weight development after pregnancy

Obesity Reviews, 2002
SummaryFor some women pregnancy is a trigger for developing overweight and obesity. Seventy‐three per cent of 128 female patients at our Obesity Unit indicated that they had retained more than 10 kg after each of their pregnancies, and for this subgroup weight development after pregnancy was of crucial importance for their future health.

An improved term weighting scheme for text classification

Concurrency and Computation, 2020
Text representation is a necessary and primary procedure in performing text classification (TC), which first needs to be obtained through an information‐rich term weighting scheme to achieve higher TC performance.

Index term weighting

Information Storage and Retrieval, 1973
Abstract Various approaches to index term weighting have been investigated. In particular, claims have been made for the value of statistically-based indexing in automatic retrieval systems. The paper discusses the logic of different types of weighting, and describes experiments testing weighting schemes of these types. The results show that one type
