Rational determination of real‐life UV exposure across latitudes: An extended Diffey‐based model integrating behavioural factors

This study models real‐life UVB and UVA exposure across latitudes and seasons using an extended Diffey framework with behavioural corrections. Findings reveal predictable dose patterns and support pragmatic SPF and UVA‐PF caps, offering a quantitative basis for realistic photoprotection and regulatory discussion.

A serum and cream moisturization regimen outperforms separate use in sustaining hydration, reducing TEWL, and balancing surface lipids over an 8‐h study

Over 8 h, using a Hyaluronic Acid Serum in combination with a Moisturizing Cream sustained skin hydration more than either product alone, while lowering TEWL and normalizing surface lipids. Long‐term sequelae after epidermal necrolysis are frequent, multiple and often severe. Cutaneous, ocular and psychological complications are more frequent, with significant socioeconomic impact.
