Entry guidance with terminal approach angle constraint
Aerospace Science and Technology, 2020Abstract Achieving a desired terminal approach angle is required by an advanced entry vehicle in missions of landing or defense penetration. An entry guidance method is developed to satisfy the terminal approach angle constraint as well as the conventional constraints.

Adaptive terminal guidance law with impact-angle constraint
The Aeronautical Journal, 2017ABSTRACTThis paper proposes an adaptive guidance law for attacking a ground target based on motion camouflage strategy. The coefficients of normal and bi-normal feedback guidance law are given according to the relative motion relationship under Frenet frame. Utilizing the coefficients, the motion camouflage proportional guidance law is derived.

Involute guidance laws with terminal impact angle constraints
2016 IEEE Chinese Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference (CGNCC), 2016An involute guidance laws with terminal velocity direction constraint have been proposed for terminal maneuver unpowered reentry vehicle. According to the flight characteristics of unpowered vehicles and the geometric properties of the involute of a circle, an involute trajectory was generated by two positions of vehicle and target and an impact angle ...

Optimal Guidance Laws with Terminal Impact Angle Constraint
Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 2005Optimal guidance laws providing the specified impact angle as well as zero terminal miss distance are generalized for arbitrary missile dynamics. The optimal guidance command is represented by a linear combination of the ramp and the step responses of the missile’s lateral acceleration.

Integrated guidance and control with terminal angle constraint
Proceedings of 2014 IEEE Chinese Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference, 2014Integrated guidance and control laws have the potential to improve the overall performance of missile systems by taking advantage of the synergism existing between the subsystems. This paper examines the proposed integrated guidance and control by using sliding-mode and back-stepping method to the engagement of ground-fixed targets.

Three-dimensional guidance law with terminal impact angle constraint
2009 International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation, 2009Based on the dynamics and kinematics of the relative motion between missile and target for missile guidance, under the assumptions that the target is stationary, and the velocity of missile is a constant, and according to the error between the real impact angle and the designated impact angle, the desired kinematics of LOS (line of sight) is analyzed ...

A fuzzy guidance law design with terminal-angle constraint
Proceedings of the 33rd Chinese Control Conference, 2014In this paper, a kind of reference trajectory of line-of-sight angle based on the optimal control theory is given, which can make the missile hit the ground fixed target accurately and satisfy the demand for terminal-angle constraint. Then, the corresponding fuzzy control law is designed to achieve the tracking of the reference trajectory of line-of ...
