Sliding mode-based continuous guidance law with terminal angle constraint

The Aeronautical Journal, 2016
ABSTRACTIn this paper, sliding mode control and disturbance observer are used to design a new continuous composite guidance law with terminal angle constraint. The robustness and finite-time convergence of the proposed guidance law is established using the Lyapunov stability theory.

A 3D nonlinear guidance law with impact terminal angle constraints

2015 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2015
Generalized model predictive static programming (G-MPSP) technique is presented in this paper in the continuous time framework for rapidly solving a class of 3D nonlinear optimal control problems with hard terminal constraints. A key feature of the technique is backward propagation of a small-dimensional weight matrix dynamics, using which the control ...

Optimal Guidance with Constraints on Impact Angle and Terminal Acceleration

AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference and Exhibit, 2003
Numbers of impact angle guidance laws have been studied in order to satisfy the flight path angle constraint on each waypoint that unmanned aerial vehicles for reconnaissance should pass by, or to increase the warhead effect for anti-ship or anti-tank missiles.

Optimal perturbation guidance with constraints on terminal flight-path angle and angle of attack

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2019
This paper presents the design of a singular-perturbation-based optimal guidance with constraints on terminal flight-path angle and angle of attack. By modeling the flight-control system dynamics as a first-order system, the angle of attack is introduced into the performance index as a state variable. To solve the resulting high-order optimal guidance

Generalized optimal impact-angle-control guidance with terminal acceleration response constraint

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2017
To study the optimal impact-angle-control guidance problem with multiple terminal constraints, a generalized optimal impact-angle-control guidance law with terminal acceleration response constraint (GOIACGL-TARC) is proposed. In the deriving, a time-to-go − nth power weighted object function is adopted to derived the GOIACGL-TARC and a general ...

Design of terminal sliding-mode guidance law with attack angle constraints

2013 25th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (CCDC), 2013
The design of guidance law with terminal line of sight constraint for maneuvering target intercept is investigated for relative motion between missile and target in two-dimension plane. Applying finite time stability theory and sliding model variable structure control method, a traditional nonlinear sliding mode guidance law is proposed.

Observer-based integrated guidance and control under terminal impact angle constraint

2018 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2018
Integrated guidance and control (IGC) design is an active research field in guided weapon system due to ability of utilizing measured information from both guidance loop and control loop. An observer-based composite control framework is proposed to accomplish the engagement of ground-fixed targets with a given impact angle.

Adaptive Sliding Mode Guidance Law with Terminal Impact Angle Constraint

2018
Aiming at the requirements of some guided weapons with attack accuracy and terminal attack angle constraint, an adaptive sliding mode guidance law with terminal impact angle constraint is proposed based on sliding mode variable structure control theory.

Closed-form solutions of optimal guidance with terminal impact angle constraint

Proceedings of 2003 IEEE Conference on Control Applications, 2003. CCA 2003., 2004
Optimal guidance laws and their closed-form solutions for controlling the impact angle as well as terminal miss are investigated in this paper. Generalized formulation of optimal guidance laws for constant speed missiles with a higher order system dynamics can be represented by a linear combination of a step and a ramp acceleration response of the ...
