Per-bank refresh with adaptive early termination for high density DRAM
Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Communication and Information Processing, 2018DRAM, which is mainly used as main memory, requires a refresh operation to maintain the integrity of stored data. Since memory read and write operations to a bank are not allowed while the bank is being refreshed, a lot of memory accesses may be blocked due to refresh, which may lead to significant performance degradation.

Main Bank System Reform in Japan: The Terminal or Coexistence with Other Systems
2010 International Conference on Management and Service Science, 2010The main bank system in Japan has undergone remarkable reformation since the 1980th. Through analysing its reform realisation, functional range and performance, it has been derived that the main bank system neither comes to its termination nor does it simply evolve into the 'creditor ex post monitoring' mode like that in the Western countries, but ...

Terminal Guidance for an Unpowered Reusable Launch Vehicle with Bank Constraints
Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 2007A new guidance scheme has been developed for the terminal phase of an unpowered reusable launch vehicle that has known limited bank capabilities. Reduced bank angle magnitude may be the result of actuator failures, and in such cases a vehicle will have difficulty performing the required heading change before approach and landing.
