Gate‐Tunable Hole Transport in In‐Plane Ge Nanowires by V‐Groove Confined Selective Epitaxy
Ge nanowires are promising for hole spin‐based quantum processors, requiring direct integration onto Si wafers. This work introduces V‐groove‐confined selective epitaxy for in‐plane nanowire growth on Si. Structural and low‐temperature transport measurements confirm their high crystalline quality, gate‐tunable hole densities, and mobility.

Nonparametric estimation of the total treatment effect with multiple outcomes in the presence of terminal events [PDF]
As standards of care advance, patients are living longer and once-fatal diseases are becoming manageable. Clinical trials increasingly focus on reducing disease burden, which can be quantified by the timing and occurrence of multiple non-fatal clinical events. Most existing methods for the analysis of multiple event-time data require stringent modeling

Self‐organized Criticality in Neuromorphic Nanowire Networks With Tunable and Local Dynamics
Memristive nanowire networks (NWNs) are shown to be electrically tunable to a critical state where specific local dynamics evaluated by multiterminal characterization are exploited as feature selection in nonlinear transformation (NLT) tasks.

Cell Membrane Vesicle Camouflaged Artificial Cells
Artificial cells camouflaged with a cell membrane vesicle coating are able to assemble into synthetic aggregates that exhibit rudimentary communication capabilities. Additionally, when these artificial cells are equipped with antioxidant capabilities, they are able to protect the intracellular homeostasis in HepG2 cells present in semi‐synthetic ...
