Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.

Dynamic Current Routing in Conductive Liquid Crystal Elastomers for Complex Deformation Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work introduces a novel actuation control strategy in which electrical stimulation generates localized Joule heating in conductive liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) surfaces, enabling complex 3D deformations from a single homogeneous surface without preprogramming.

On the terminal value problem for differential equations with deviating arguments

open access: yes, 1985
The problem of the existence and uniqueness of solutions x of the equation (E) \(x'(t)=f(t;x[\sigma_ 1(t)],...,x[\sigma_ k(t)])\) under the ''terminal'' condition \(\lim_{t\to \infty}x(t)=\xi\), where \(\xi\) is a vector in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) or \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\), is studied.

Additive‐Manufactured, Multifunctional Bioreactor Technology for Dynamic Culture of 3D Bioprinted Tissue Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We introduce an additively manufactured bioreactor with a perfusion flow system and integrated temperature and pH sensors for skeletal muscle tissue biofabrication. The bioreactor's performance was evaluated by assessing the viability, spreading of the myoblast cells in a printed scaffold, and contraction of the isolated murine musculi interossei ...

On nonlocal terminal value problem for tempered fractional diffusion equation

open access: yesFilomat
In this paper, we are interested in studying the tempered fractional diffusion equation subject to a nonlocal terminal condition. The primary equation incorporates the tempered Caputo derivative, which serves as a generalized form of the traditional Caputo derivative.
