THE EFFECT OF MOISTURE CONTENT ON SOME PHYSICAL AND AERODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF PEANUT AND ITS RESIDUES [PDF]
Physical and aerodynamic properties often required for designing the equipments for planting, harvesting, and pos-harvesting operations. Several physical and aerodynamic properties of peanut variety (Giza-4) were evaluated as a function of moisture ...

We propose Terminal Velocity Matching (TVM), a generalization of flow matching that enables high-fidelity one- and few-step generative modeling. TVM models the transition between any two diffusion timesteps and regularizes its behavior at its terminal time rather than at the initial time. We prove that TVM provides an upper bound on the $2$-Wasserstein

Direct Numerical Simulation of Water Droplets in Turbulent Flow
Details on the fall speeds of raindrops are essential in both applications and natural events, such as rain-rate retrieval and soil erosion. Here, we examine the influence of turbulence on the terminal velocity of two water drops of different sizes.

Wing and Pappus Appendages Decrease Seed Terminal Velocity: A Meta‐Analysis
Seed dispersal by wind regulates plant species distribution in natural vegetation and can be applied in forest management and aerodynamic engineering. The terminal velocity of seeds is a fundamental variable for predicting anemochory seed dispersal, but ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Modeling the Terminal Velocity of Rising Electrocharged Microbubbles
The generation of electrocharged microbubbles is very important for several separation processes (e.g., water treatment, paper industry, and mineral processing). However, their rising terminal velocities are not fully understood.
