Quenchable Amorphous Diamond: A Novel High‐Pressure Route to Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon
Advanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.This study predicts the high‐pressure transformation of amorphous graphite into an sp3‐rich amorphous diamond phase using ab initio molecular dynamics. A first‐order transition is expected to occur ≈33 GPa in experiments, offering a novel synthesis route for sp3‐bonded amorphous carbon.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Glucocorticoid‐induced osteoporosis (GIOP) triggers osteocyte ferroptosis via SLC7A11 degradation. PSMD14 stabilizes SLC7A11 by counteracting glucocorticoid‐driven ubiquitination, preserving cystine uptake and glutathione synthesis. AAV‐mediated PSMD14 delivery or its agonist Pantethine rescues osteocyte survival and bone loss in GIOP mice.

Designing Tunable DNA Condensates to Control Membrane Budding Transformation in Synthetic Cells
Advanced Science, EarlyView.In giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs), membrane wetting of encapsulated liquid‐liquid phase‐separated DNA condensates can be precisely triggered post‐fabrication using photoactivatable DNA‐lipid linkers. On free‐standing membranes, interactions between DNA condensates and the membrane lead to outward budding, resembling exocytosis.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.The phototoxicity in nonlinear optical microscopy arises mainly from linear absorption of intrinsic biomolecules rather than nonlinear absorption. This mechanism is supported by a reproducible phototoxicity assay based on widely available chicken breast.
