Discriminant Bounds for Spinor Regular Ternary Quadratic Lattices

Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 2004
The genus of a quadratic lattice is the set of all quadratic lattices which are equivalent to the given lattice at all local completions in a given quadratic space. The class of a lattice is the set of all lattices which are equivalent to the given lattice globally in a given quadratic space.

Ternary joint transform correlator for improving correlation discrimination

Optics Communications, 1992
Abstract A new ternary joint transform correlator (TJTC) is proposed. In the TJTC, a ternary valued (-1,0,+1) joint power spectrum is formulated. This correlator can improve correlation discrimination as compared with classical JTC and binary JTC (BJTC) by computer simulation.

Transform-ratio ternary phase-amplitude filter formulation for improved correlation discrimination

Applied Optics, 1988
A method of formulating ternary-valued (-1,0,1) correlation filters based on the ratio of spectral energies of target and nontarget patterns is proposed, and performance of such filters is investigated by computer simulations of correlation. The results confirm the intuitive expectation that such filters can enhance signalto- clutter and discrimination

Dynamic-SERS spectroscopy for the in situ discrimination of xanthine analogues in ternary mixture

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2017
Nowadays, there is a growing demand for analytical methods capable of providing rapid and simple identification of certain compounds in complex samples without a time-consuming separation process. In this report, a combinative strategy of dynamic surface-enhanced Raman scattering (DSERS) and two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy (2DCOS) analysis was

Discriminator positively complete classes of ternary logic

Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics, 2008
The article addresses the operator of positive closure on the set Pk of functions of k-valued logic. For each k ⩾ 3, k ≠ 4, the set Hk of all homogeneous functions from Pk is proved to form an atom in the lattice of the positively closed classes from Pk. Also, we find all 17 positively closed classes from P3 containing the class H3 (i.e., discriminator

The phase discrimination of Pr-Fe-B ternary system by their magnetic characteristics

Chinese Physics Letters, 1986
The induced magnetic ordering effect of polycrystalline dhcp Pr at low temperature was applied to discriminate the minute Pr phase in Pr-Fe-B alloys with high sensitivity. The conclusion that the composition range of HM phase of Pr-Fe-B is very narrow has been deduced from experiments.
