Thermo-economic performance and sensitivity analysis of ternary hybrid nanofluids
Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2021Abstract The thermo-economic performance of the Al2O3-TiO2-Cu/water ternary hybrid nanofluid was investigated experimentally. The shear stress, viscosity, and thermal conductivity were measured at 0.005–1 vol% over temperature range of 20–60 °C. The morphology and stability of nanofluids were characterized by SEM and UV–Vis spectrophotometer analyses.

Ternary hybrid nanofluids flow on a spinning disk with nonlinear thermal radiation
ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 2022AbstractResearchers are interested in the thermophysical properties of nanofluids because of the successful use of nanofluids in state‐of‐the‐art technology and engineering. Hence, hybrid and tri‐hybrid nanofluid is used to ensure the required thermal features.

Bödewadt Slip Flow of Casson Ternary Hybrid Nanofluid due to Stretching Rotating Disk
Journal of Nanofluids, 2023The main goal of the present study is to invetigate Bödewadt flow and thermal analysis of radiative ternary hybrid nanofluid over rotating disk subject to second order slip. The ternary hybrid nanofluid contains nanoparticle-1 as Al2O3(spherical), nanoparticle-2 as CNT (cylindrical), nanoparticle-3 as graphene (platelet) and base fluid as water ...

Development of a new correlation to determine the viscosity of ternary hybrid nanofluid
International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer, 2020Abstract In this study, the experimental investigation on the effects of temperature and concentrations of nanoparticles on the dynamic viscosity of water-based Al2O3-CuO-TiO2 ternary hybrid nanofluid has been presented. The experiments were performed in the solid vol. fraction range of 0.01–0.1%, and temperature range of 35°C to 50 °C.

The behaviour of nanofluid, hybrid, and ternary hybrid nanofluid flow between stretchy, spinning discs is examined in this work using the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model. The driving momentum and energy equations are found in a cylindrical polar coordinate system to show how the flow moves and how heat moves.

AbstractAn illustration of the shape factor for various nanoparticles considered in the ethylene glycol‐based ternary nanofluid is presented in this article. The study shows a ternary nanofluid moves through a stretching surface that is filled with a permeable medium. This is done with a magnetic field and the radiating heat effect added.
