ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a double‐tuned calf coil with excellent 1H and 31P performance to study muscle physiology by interleaved 1H/31P MRS and parallel imaging at 7 T. Methods The coil combines three 1H transceive dipoles, six 1H receive‐only loops and three 31P transceive loops, arranged in a nested, half‐cylindrical layout.

Credit Risk Monte Carlos Simulation Using Simplified Creditmetrics' Model: the joint use of importance sampling and descriptive sampling [PDF]
Monte Carlo simulation is implemented in some of the main models for estimating portfolio credit risk, such as CreditMetrics, developed by Gupton, Finger and Bhatia (1997). As in any Monte Carlo application, credit risk simulation according to this model

High‐Resolution Diffusion‐Weighted Imaging With Self‐Gated Self‐Supervised Unrolled Reconstruction
ABSTRACT Purpose High‐resolution diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI) is clinically demanding. The purpose of this work is to develop an efficient self‐supervised algorithm unrolling technique for submillimeter‐resolution DWI. Methods We developed submillimeter DWI acquisition utilizing multi‐band multi‐shot EPI with diffusion shift encoding.

Constraints on crustal rheology and age of deformation from models of gravitational spreading in Ishtar Terra, Venus [PDF]
Gravitational spreading is expected to lead to rapid relaxation of high relief due to the high surface temperature and associated weak crust on Venus. In this study, we use new Magellan radar and altimetry data to determine the extent of gravitational ...

ABSTRACT Purpose To achieve high resolution (≤ 1 mm isotropic) whole‐brain perfusion imaging at 7 T with next generation ASL pulse sequence, reconstruction algorithm, and MRI hardware. Methods We capitalized on three major innovations: (1) FLASH‐based pseudo‐Continuous ASL (pCASL) sequence with rotated golden‐angle stack‐of‐spirals (rGA‐SoS) sampling; (

ABSTRACT Purpose Echo‐Planar Imaging (EPI) is central to fMRI, diffusion MRI, and many dynamic clinical applications, yet rapid gradient switching induces strong mechanical vibrations, generates acoustic noise, and contributes to ghosting artifacts—effects that intensify at ultra‐high fields.

The genus Croton (Euphorbiaceae) is an exceptionally megadiverse genus, encompassing roughly 1200 species that are predominantly distributed across tropical regions globally. For the New World, the genus is organized into three subgenera (Adenophylli, Geiseleria and Quadrilobi) and 31 sections, with C. sect. Barhamia standing out with its approximately
