A Holistic Stabilization of the Anode in Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries Through a Ternary Alloy Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
LiTeAl anodes fabricated through a scalable thermal fusion technique holistically addresses the stability issues faced by lithium‐metal anodes in lithium–sulfur batteries. Aluminum forming a skeletal network with lithium suppresses dendrite growth and enhances energy density, while tellurium forming a robust SEI facilitates Li+‐ion flow.

Sea level, dinosaur diversity and sampling biases: investigating the ‘common cause’ hypothesis in the terrestrial realm [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The fossil record is our primary window onto the diversification of ancient life, but there are widespread concerns that sampling biases may distort observed palaeodiversity counts.

The Multiple States of Human Existential Perfection in the Prophet Muhammad [PDF]

open access: yesحکمت اسرا, 2011
The Prophet (Ò), as perfect man, is the ultimate manifestation of the divine names and attributes on the tripartite existential planes—the supernal, the angelic, and the terrestrial—corresponding to the three stations of sanctity (walÁyah), prophethood ...

The stoichiometry of nutrient release by terrestrial herbivores and its ecosystem consequences. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
It is widely recognized that the release of nutrients by herbivores via their waste products strongly impacts nutrient availability for autotrophs. The ratios of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) recycled through herbivore release (i.e., waste N:P) are ...

Hierarchical MXene‐Derived NTP/C Nanohybrids for Cryogenic Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical MXene‐derived NaTi2(PO4)3/C nanohybrid enables efficient sodium‐ion storage down to −40°C by integrating fast ion–electron transport pathways with an ether‐based electrolyte. The system promotes dominant pseudocapacitive behavior and forms a robust inorganic‐rich SEI, collectively mitigating kinetic and interfacial limitations, thereby ...

Modelling the local geoid of East Kalimantan from combination of airborne and terrestrial gravity data using the KTH method

open access: yesGeodesy and Cartography
This research aims to determine the gravimetric geoid using the KTH method for East Kalimantan, where Indonesia’s new capital city is located. The geoid of East Kalimantan was calculated from a combination of airborne gravity data, terrestrial gravity ...

A comparative analysis of dispersal syndromes in terrestrial and semi‐terrestrial animals [PDF]

open access: yesEcology Letters, 2014
AbstractDispersal, the behaviour ensuring gene flow, tends to covary with a number of morphological, ecological and behavioural traits. While species‐specific dispersal behaviours are the product of each species’ unique evolutionary history, there may be distinct interspecific patterns of covariation between dispersal and other traits (‘dispersal ...

Submicron Metasurface Reconfigured Multiband Smart Windows

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a submicron metasurface reconfigured multiband thermochromic smart window. By integrating subwavelength nanostructures into a Fabry−Perot resonator configuration, it mitigates conventional trade‐offs to simultaneously deliver high luminous transmittance and robust solar heating and radiative cooling modulation capabilities ...

A Comprehensive Comparison of Photogrammetric and RTK-GPS Methods for General Order Land Surveying

open access: yesBuildings
One of the main objectives of modern-day surveying is to maximize the efficiency and accuracy of mapping a landscape for natural features and elevations prior to the start of a construction project.
