Among a collection of terrestrial isopods from Aldabra were 13 species, six of which are new: Littorophiloscia aldabrana, Philoscina insularis, Trichorhina triocellata, Nagurus kensleyi, Pseudodiploexochus cuspidatus and Venezillo pseudoparvus.
