Seven cases of cryptococcus meningitis in a tertiary care hospital from 2004-2007 were reviewed. 85.7% of the patients had headache as their predominant clinical feature. The spectrum of CT / MR findings ranged from no abnormality, basal ganglion lesion, to intracerebral and intraventricular granulomas.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
