The generalized Cucconi test statistic for the two-sample problem
, 2019When testing hypotheses in two-sample problem, the Lepage test statistic is often used to jointly test the location and scale parameters, and this test statistic has been discussed by many authors over the years.

Abstract This paper presents and illustrates a simple statistical test for judging whether one of two materials or treatments is better than the other. The data to which the test is applied consist of paired observations on the two materials or treatments. The test is based on the signs of the differences between the pairs of observations.

Statistics for Electromigration Testing
26th International Reliability Physics Symposium, 1988A comprehensive statistical basis is given for the design and conduction of electromigration stress tests that allows for the efficient use of test parts, equipment, and test time. It shows how to select the size of the sample, the required control of the stress conditions, and the number of failures required before halting the test in order to ...

Signature test as statistical testing in clustering
Signal, Image and Video Processing, 2016We propose a new statistical test denoted by signature testing (Sigtest) with the application in clustering and image classification. Sigtest relies on probabilistic validation of empirical distribution function of data. We implement Sigtest to estimate the number of clusters in hierarchical and partitional clustering.

Valid conjunction inference with the minimum statistic
NeuroImage, 2005In logic a conjunction is defined as an AND between truth statements. In neuroimaging, investigators may look for brain areas activated by task A AND by task B, or a conjunction of tasks (Price, C.J., Friston, K.J., 1997.

Code-Testing of Statistical Test Implementations
2003In this note we discuss in general how to test the implementation code of statistical tests, and then we treat in detail the case of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. It will be shown that some 'obvious' expected properties, like the flatness distributions of p-values from repeating drawings from the same parent distribution, are not indeed reproduced even ...

Testing the Homogeneity of Kappa Statistics
Biometrics, 1996Procedures are compared for testing the homogeneity of k > or = 2 independent kappa statistics in the case of two raters and a dichotomous outcome. One of the procedures is based on the estimated large sample variance derived under a model frequently adopted for inferences concerning interobserver agreement.
