Assessment of anti-sperm antibodies in couples after testicular sperm extraction
Purpose Testicular spermatozoa can be retrieved successfully by the testicular sperm extraction (TESE) procedure and used for intracytoplasmic sperm injection. Disruption in the blood-testis barrier can lead to the production of antisperm antibodies (ASA).

ABSTRACT This study investigated the function of epididymal extracellular vesicles (EVs) in overcoming sperm post‐testicular modification deficiencies. Although EVs derived from the epididymis play a crucial role in intercellular communication and molecular exchange, there is limited research addressing how EVs released by in vitro cultured epididymal ...

Sperm retrieval techniques in azoospermic patients: PESA, MESA, TESA, TESE and MICROTESE [PDF]
Azoospermia is defined as the absence of mature spermatozoa in semen analysis after centrifugation. The causes of azoospermia may be related to spermatogenesis defects and classified as non-obstructive azoospermia, or to the obstruction of the efferent ...

MAFB is dispensable for the fetal testis morphogenesis and the maintenance of spermatogenesis in adult mice [PDF]
The transcription factor MAFB is an important regulator of the development and differentiation of various organs and tissues. Previous studies have shown that MAFB is expressed in embryonic and adult mouse testes and is expected to act as the downstream ...
