“Open” Biopsy of the Testis and Testicular Sperm Extraction

This chapter brie fl y describes “open” testicular biopsy as a method for obtaining tissue for cryopreservation, as well as the assessment of the histologic structure of the testicular parenchyma, including detection of carcinoma in situ. This chapter also illustrates the handling of testicular biopsy samples in cases of limited testicular tumors.

Successful testicular sperm extraction in Korean Klinefelter syndrome
