Test Strategies for Low-Power Devices
Journal of Low Power Electronics, 2008Ultra low-power devices are being developed for embedded applications in bio-medical electronics, wireless sensor networks, environment monitoring and protection, etc. The testing of these low-cost, low-power devices is a daunting task. Depending on the target application, there are stringent guidelines on the number of defective parts per million ...

IEEE Design & Test of Computers, 1987
Testing ISDN devices, which mix analog voice information and digital data, puts special demands on the test system. The ISDN has multiple interfaces with devices that perform a variety of functions. What was usually performed by many individual ICs is now performed by a single ISDN device.

Design and Test of a Vascular Access Device
Artificial Organs, 2000Abstract: Transarterial left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), such as the Hemopump, IABP, and PUCA‐pump, are meant to be introduced into the body via the femoral or axillary artery without major surgery. For certain applications, introduction is performed directly into the aorta via an open thorax procedure.

Test device for radiated immunity tests
2009 20th International Zurich Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2009A test device for radiated immunity tests has been developed. It allows obtaining a frequency dependent measurement value up to 3.4 GHz instead of a common pass/fail result. The characteristics of this test device have been investigated theoretically by numerical simulations and experimentally in GTEM cells.

Device Testing and Sem Testing Tools
1988The aim of this paper is three fold. In a first part, the basics of electron beam testing are reviewed. Next, a second part details experiences in using electron-beam testing for failure analysis of memories and microprocessors. The third part gives results on the use of an electron beam tester in a more structured methodology for failure analysis and ...
