Investigations Into the Metabolism and Elimination of Tesofensine in Human Urine
This study investigated tesofensine metabolism and urinary elimination after a single 483 μg intake via a dietary supplement. In six volunteers, urine was collected up to 659 h. LC‐HRMS/MS identified four tentative metabolites; maximum urinary concentrations reached 4 ng/mL within 4–48 h.

This study compared GC‐MS/MS, EA‐IRMS, and LC‐MS/MS for detecting synthetic and manipulated urine samples in doping control and forensic analysis. EA‐IRMS proved particularly effective for identifying mixtures of synthetic and authentic urine, providing a reliable complement to established authenticity testing methods.

In utero and childhood DDT, DDE, PBDE and PCBs exposure and sex hormones in adolescent boys: The CHAMACOS study [PDF]
Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT), polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are believed to be endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in humans and animals. The purpose of this study is to examine the

An ultrasensitive LC‐MS/MS method for detecting testosterone esters (T‐esters) in urine at sub–pg/mL levels is presented. This approach, employing Girard P derivatization, provides the first evidence of T‐esters' trace‐level detectability in human urine.

Gut microbiota–host endocrine interactions in wild mammals remain poorly understood. Giant pandas experience seasonal dietary shifts and constrained annual reproduction, offering an ideal model to investigate microbiome–endocrine coupling. We integrated fecal hormone profiling, microsatellite‐based individual identification, and gut microbiome ...

Adolescent social isolation disrupts hippocampal function and exacerbates emotional symptoms, with sex‐specific patterns, as shown by human studies. In mice, social isolation decreased hippocampal synaptic density and calcium signaling, upregulated complement proteins, and activated complement‐mediated microglial synaptic phagocytosis.

BackgroundPersistent pollutants, such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), affect endocrine function. Human exposure to polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), which are similar in structure to PCBs, has increased recently, but health effects have not ...
