Testosterone propionate inhibits maternal aggression in mice

Abstract Daily injections of testosterone propionate (TP) significantly decreased the number of attacks exhibited by lactating female mice toward male intruders. Treatment with TP also depressed the body weights of the dams as well as their lactation performance but these effects were observed long after deficits in aggression were noted. The results
