AbstractThe shell of the oldest true turtle (Testudinata) branch (Proterochersidae) from the Late Triassic (Norian) of Poland and Germany was built in its anterior and posterior part from an osteodermal mosaic which developed several million years after the plastron, neurals and costal bones.

Bu çalışmada şimdiye kadar ayrıntılı olarak çalışılmamış olan Reşadiye (Datça) Yarımadası’nın kaplumbağaları ele alınmıştır. Mauremys caspica rivulata örnekleri 4, Testudo graeca ibera örnekleri ise 9 lokaliteden toplanmış veya ölçüm alındıktan sonra serbest bırakılmıstır. Morfolojik olarak toplam 30 ergin, 8 juvenil örnek degerlendirilmistir.
