Cl3Al‐PH3 Is a Weak Lewis Pair Allowing the Synthesis of Sterically Highly Hindered Primary and Secondary Alkyl Phosphanes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 64, Issue 29, July 14, 2025.
The weak Lewis Pair H3P→AlCl3 can be conveniently prepared in a solvent such as toluene (up to 4 M). Under ambient conditions and pure form, this adduct is a crystalline compound that can be rather easily handled. It is an excellent reagent for the synthesis of especially sterically hindered alkyl phosphanes (R = tBu, Ad).

Chromium-based coatings by atmospheric chemical vapor deposition at low temperature from Cr(CO)6 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Cr-based coatings were grown under atmospheric pressure in different gaseous atmospheres (N2,H2, NH3) from the thermal decomposition of Cr(CO)6 at 300 °C in a cold-wall CVD reactor. Cr(CO)6 is a good candidate as precursor because of its low cost and its

Factor analysis to assess pollutant source apportionment and to investigate the relationship between catchment attributes and instream water quality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The EU Water Framework Directive (WFD EC60/2000) requires that quality-flow compliance at a particular surface-water reach entail consideration of all upstream inputs, including contaminated land and groundwater contributions.
