Tetrastigma hemsleyanum tubers polysaccharide ameliorates LPS-induced inflammation in macrophages and Caenorhabditis elegans

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2019
Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg, a rare herbal plant native to China, possesses high medicinal value. More researches have focused on the flavones in the tubers of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum whereas polysaccharides attract few attentions. In this study, a purified polysaccharide (TTP-1) with the average molecular weights of 478.33 kDa was extracted ...

[Separation and Quantitative Determination of Four Flavonoids in Tetrastigma hemsleyanum].

Zhong yao cai = Zhongyaocai = Journal of Chinese medicinal materials, 2015
To develop a method for separation and quantitative determination of four flavonoids in Tetrastigma hemsleyanum. The Separation was performed on a Waters Preparative scale LC-MS autopurification system. Several spectral analyses, such as NMR,HR-MS and UV were used to identify the chemical structures.

[Callus cultivation and determination of flavonoids from Tetrastigma hemsleyanum].

Zhong yao cai = Zhongyaocai = Journal of Chinese medicinal materials, 2011
The feasibility of producting flavonoids from callus of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum was investigated through callus induction, proliferation, differentiation and determination of flavonoids. The leaves of sterile plantlet, leaves and stems of wild plants were used as explants to induce calluses; The root tuber, the leaves and calluses were selected for the ...

Antibacterial mechanism of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg's polysaccharides by metabolomics based on HPLC/MS

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2019
Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg (THDG) is used as a Chinese traditional anti-inflammatory medicine for about thousands of years. In this work, Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg's polysaccharide (TP) can inhibit E. coli's growth in initial dosing period.

Tetrastigma hemsleyanum leaves extract against acrylamide-induced toxicity in HepG2 cells and Caenorhabditis elegans

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2020
Acrylamide (ACR), as a raw material of polyacrylamide that used in water purification, was verified to possess various toxicity. Tetrastigma hemsleyanum (TH) is a medicinal plant widely used to anti-inflammation and anti-tumor in Chinese folks. However, more researches focused on the biological activities in tubers and the leaves were ignored.

A glucuronogalactomannan isolated from Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg: Structure and immunomodulatory activity

Carbohydrate Polymers
A novel acidic glucuronogalactomannan (STHP-5) was isolated from the aboveground part of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et Gilg with a molecular weight of 3.225 × 105 kDa. Analysis of chain conformation showed STHP-5 was approximately a random coil chain. STHP-5 was composed mainly of galactose, mannose, and glucuronic acid.

[Effect of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum on sepsis and mechanism based on network pharmacology and experimental verification].

Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2022
Based on network pharmacology and in vivo experiment, this study explored the therapeutic effect of Tetrastigma hemsle-yanum(SYQ) on sepsis and the underlying mechanism. The common targets of SYQ and sepsis were screened out by network pharmacology, and the "SYQ-component-target-sepsis" network was constructed. The protein-protein interaction(
