Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC) For Integrated Formworks
SP-224: Thin Reinforced Cement-Based Products and Construction Systems, 2004This paper presents the use of textile reinforced concrete (TRC) for producing integrated formwork element for use in construction. The TRC integrated formwork elements are significantly lighter compared to the normal precast elements owing to their relatively smaller wall thickness of typically around 10 mm.

Modular textile reinforced concrete (TRC) shell structures
2022Curved thin-walled shell structures are very promising towards the future, as they possess the ability to carry their loads efficiently, resulting in very thin designs and therefore a reduced material consumption. Recent developments of new construction materials and innovative fabrication techniques have led to a resurgence in this research domain ...

Flexural Strengthening of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC)
2011Carbon-epoxy composite materials are of considerable interest for reinforcement, but they need to be improved and have constraints, particularly in terms of cost and criteria of sustainable development. Such alternatives as textile reinforced concrete (TRC) should be seriously considered as substitutes for traditional composite materials. It is in this

The mechanical behavior under impact loading of concrete elements strengthened with shells of textile reinforced concrete (TRC) was studied. The strengthening shells were made of either alkali- resistant glass or polyethylene (PE) fabrics that were impregnated with several cementitious matrices mod- ified by common admixtures.

Anchoring of shear strengthening for T-beams made of textile reinforced concrete (TRC)
Materials and Structures, 2007Test results indicate that thin layers of concrete utilizing textile reinforcement can be used as shear strengthening for Reinforced Concrete (RC)-T-beams thereby increasing the shear capacity of these particular types of beams. Serviceability properties are also improved; in particular, the amount of deflection is reduced, as well as crack widths ...

Extremely Light and Slender Precast Pedestrian-Bridge Made Out of Textile-Reinforced Concrete (TRC)
2017Textile-reinforced concrete (TRC) is an innovative composite material which uses mesh-like textile reinforcements and a fine-grained concrete as basic materials. Unlike steel, textiles are not susceptible to corrosion, thus it is possible to minimize the concrete cover to only a few millimeters. As a result, slender concrete constructions can be built,
