The Role of Indexing in Subject Retrieval [PDF]
On first reading the list of speakers proposed for this institute, I became aware of being rather the "odd man out" for two reasons. Firstly, I was asked to present a paper on PRECIS which is very much a verbal indexing system-at a conference ...

ABSTRACT The emerging concept of Hubs for Circularity (H4Cs) presents an opportunity to create collaborative, self‐sustaining regional industrial ecosystems that drive circular economy transitions at scale. However, the operationalisation of H4Cs faces financial, organisational and data‐driven challenges.

Textile reinforced concrete sandwich panels
The main reason for the thickness of a concrete sandwich element is the requirement for the protective concrete cover for the steel reinforcement. By changing the steel reinforcement to non-corrosive textile fibre net this requirement could be strongly reduced.

Anchorage Length for Textile Reinforced Concrete
1 Abstract- The anchorage length needed for textile fabrics as reinforcement within a fine-grained concrete matrix was determined based upon specific filament yarn pull-out tests. The purpose of this research was to eliminate the possibility of failure due to fabric pull-out from the matrix in practical applications.
