A design for preparation of textured piezoelectric ceramics based on the phase-field simulation
To solve the problem of directional arrangement of small template particles, we designed a lamination technique for the preparation of dense ceramics with high texture degree based on the phase-field simulation.

Hot forging Nb4AlC3 ceramics with enhanced properties
Textured Nb4AlC3 ceramics were rapidly and efficiently prepared by hot forging through spark plasma sintering (SPS). The longitudinal compression ratio of textured Nb4AlC3 ceramics was −78.3%, and the lateral expansion ratio was 32.1%.

Textures in Ceramic Superconductors [PDF]
Textures in bulk Y–Ba–Cu–O superconducting materials were studied. Texturing methods are based on the paramagnetic anisotropy, grain‐dimension anisotropy and surface‐energy anisotropy of the crystals. Five incomplete X‐ray pole figures including four superimposed ones were measured for the ODF calculation.

Fabrication of 0.94NBT–0.06BT textured ceramics using plate-like NBT templates and their electrical properties [PDF]
The effect of crystallographic texture on the properties of 0.94(Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3)–0.06BaTiO3 (0.94NBT–0.06BT) ceramics were investigated in this study. The optimized rectangular plate-like Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NBT) templates synthesized by a three-step molten ...

Additive manufacturing of textured ceramics
The study of tailoring crystallographic gain orientation has been an area of great interest due to the ability to enhance specific material properties. Bulk textured ceramics are commonly manufactured by aligning seed grains in a polycrystalline material through tape casting.
