Specimens of the swimming crabs, Thalamita admete and Thalamita prymna, were collected on intertidal zones of Chabahar Bay (Gulf of Oman) in 2007. Thalamita admete (Herbst, 1803) Material examined. 1 female (15.0 x 10.7 mm) (DABFUK), Kavaratti, 18 January 2015. This species was also observed from Minicoy (R. Ravinesh) but specimens not collected. Remarks. Thalamita admete was also observed from Minicoy but specimens were not collected.
