The complete mitochondrial genome of Thalamita sima (Decapoda: Portunidae) [PDF]
Thalamita is one of most important genera of Portunidae. However, the systemically classification and taxonomic studies have so far been limited. In this study, we report the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of T. sima.

Social-ecological drivers and dynamics of seagrass gleaning fisheries. [PDF]
Invertebrate gleaning (walking) fisheries are common within intertidal seagrass meadows globally, contributing to the food supply of hundreds of millions of people, but understanding of these fisheries and their ecological drivers are extremely limited ...

Reproductive Biology and Evidence for Hard-Female Mating in the Brachyuran Crab Thalamita sima (Portunidae) [PDF]
Mating of hard-shelled intermolt females was observed in the portunid Thalamita sima H. Milne Edwards in the laboratory. During SCUBA samplings over a 20-month period, specimens in copula were seasonally observed, but no pre- or postmolt guarding was seen. Females sampled from pairs in copula (N = 3) in the field were in intermolt.
