Gliosarcoma with thallium-201 SPECT
Annals of Nuclear Medicine, 2000Thallium-201 (201Tl) chloride scintigraphy is the imaging method use for the detection of various tumors including glioblastoma, but only limited information on 201Tl uptake in gliosarcoma is available. We investigated a patient with gliosarcoma by means of 201Tl single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and MRI.

Quantitative Assessment of Thallium-201 Images
Cardiovascular Radiology, 1979The sensitivity and specificity of thallium-201 myocardial imaging for analysis of regional myocardial viability depends on reproducible image construction and interpretation. Reproducibility is influenced by the myocardial 201Tl uptake, which depends on myocardial perfusion, mass, and metabolism [25, 26]; these factors also determine the myocardial-to-

Tumour uptake of thallium-201 chloride
European Journal of Nuclear Medicine, 1979The uptake of 201Tl-chloride in tumours has recently been investigated in several authors' laboratories. We are reporting studies on the uptake in malignant melanoma in mice. Generally, we confirm the published data qualitatively in finding higher uptake in tumour than in muscles.

Assessing viable myocardium with thallium-201
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1992Patients with chronic coronary artery disease and potentially reversible left ventricular dysfunction can often be successfully identified by one or more clinical indicators of myocardial viability, including regional wall motion, systolic wall thickening, regional myocardial perfusion as determined by perfusion tracers, and redistribution of thallium ...

The Value of Thallium-201 Imaging
New England Journal of Medicine, 1990Myocardial perfusion imaging with thallium-201 has been used to improve detection and risk stratification in ischemic heart disease.
