Resource‐Efficient Electrodes with Metallized Woven‐Glass‐Grid Current Collectors for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)

Do false positive thallium-201 scans lead to unnecessary catheterization? outcome of patients with perfusion defects on quantitative planar thallium-201 scintigraphy

open access: yes, 1993
Objectives. We postulated that artifactually abnormal thallium-201 scans are well identified at the time of initial clinical interpretation by experienced readers and do not lead to unnecessary coronary angiography.Background.

Intracoronary thallium-201 scintigraphy after thrombolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction compared with 10 and 100 day intravenous thallium-201 scintigraphy

open access: yes, 1987
Thallium-201 imaging has been utilized to estimate myocardial salvage after thrombolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction. However, results from recent animal studies have suggested that as a result of reactive hyperemia and delayed necrosis ...

A Bibliometric‐Based Review of Biochar for Salt‐Affected Soil Restoration: Mapping Research Trends and Future Directions

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In recent years, biochar has been studied for its range of applications. Recognized by the IPCC as a key Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) strategy, it also stands out as an important tool for reclaiming degraded lands, including vast global areas affected by salinity, such as those in China, India, and Australia.

River‐Scale Evaluation of a Floating LED Light Array for Behavioral Guidance of American Eel

open access: yesRiver Research and Applications, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Exploiting the sensory physiology of migratory fishes to guide them away from hazards like hydroelectric turbines is of interest to regulatory agencies and hydropower operators to achieve conservation and management goals. Here we describe a river‐scale experiment where out‐migrating adult American eel (Anguilla rostrata) were tracked ...

Prognostic value of dipyridamole thallium-201 imaging in elderly patients

open access: yes, 1992
The prognostic value of intravenous dipyridamole myocardial perfusion imaging has not been studied in a large series of elderly patients. Patients ≥70 years of age with known or suspected coronary artery disease were evaluated to determine the predictive
