Two-step power supply application to reduce THDi ratio in LED light sources with integrated driver
This paper presents the concept of using a two-stage power supply unit to reduce the harmonic frequencies of electric current generated by light-emitting diodes fitted with an integrated power supply and driver. In the work, there are references to the most important Standards pertaining to generation higher harmonics of current.

Low THDi front-end stage under non-sinusoidal voltage
A digital controller for Boost front-end stages connected to non-sinusoidal voltage grids is presented in this work. The utility voltage is not pure sinusoidal and presents a typical harmonic distortion (THDv) lower than 5 %, fulfilling the standard limits.

Temporary voltage sags in the side of network supply voltage are the main cause of untimely stops of automated systems that use adjustable speed drives (ASDs). In this context, this paper presents an analysis of a new hybrid three-phase rectifier which was designed to correct the power factor and to promote voltage-sag ride-through capability to ASDs ...

In literature it is known that the tuning of nonlinear controllers is different from the classic control approach, since it is not given directly, because of the Laplace transform term. In this sense, the main goal of this work is to deduce intuitive method to obtain the nonlinear controllers gains for SFL and PBC applied to the PFC boost converter, a
